Rectângulo Azul

A photo-animated video that reflects the essence of everyday life.

It was made during a time when I was working in a coffee shop in Dalvik. In this shop, there was a back door that led us to a view outside. I rememberbeing obsessed with this particular view because of a patch of sea that existed a midst the visual constructed noise.I particularly liked this view because every day, that little patch changed its shade. This daily change kept me delighted during all the days that seemed to remain the same, but not quite.

At the end of summer, I captured ‘Rectângulo Azul,’ and its magnificent change of blue. It is a work that explores the essence of time through photographing everyday experiences.
